This used Zvex Super Hard-On Pedal is a hand-painted gem in Excellent condition. Designed with an extremely high input impedance, this pedal works as an ideal preamp unit, especially for vintage guitars who suffer from deteriorating magnets in their pickups. Perfect for boosting your tone, it makes your guitar sound bigger and pushes your amp harder, causing a natural overload. The result is a boost that is extremely transparent and organic. Its 'Crackle Okay' knob is modeled after classic '60s recording console inputs, and works as a negative feedback control (it even crackles like they did when adjusted).
When cranked, it sounds much louder than a distortion or fuzz, and when it finally does distort the wave is shaped like a triode overload, not a fuzz. Even when turned down, you still get beautiful high-end clarity. Undoubtedly an 'always on' unit, this Zvex Super Hard-On Pedal has a cool, hand-painted design that looks great on any board. USED

This Zvex Fuzz Factory Pedal is a five-knob fuzz using two new old-stock sixties germanium transistors. The circuit is not modeled after any classic fuzz design, but should have been around when Leary was still lucid. Although the five knobs are named for the parameters over which they seem to have the most control, please don't hold Zvex to it. The Zvex Fuzz Factory Pedal has all the controls for various operating levels and biases, and basically shape you a personalized fuzz. Amazing Pedal!

"I have always heard about this Zvex Woolly Mammoth bass fuzz pedal being popular among bassists, but holy cow, this pedal sounded absolutely sick with a Grosh ElectraJet and a Dr. Z head! Heavy saturation with an almost octave-like effect that never lags behind. Zvex has designed an outstanding pedal." - Matthew K.
"This is a little monster and so much fun to use! When used on bass, I was able to call up some cool synth-like tones. If you're a fan of the band Muse, you'll know what I'm talking about. On guitar I was able to dial in nice, sloppy fuzz tones that made me think of The Black Keys and White Stripes. The pinch knob helps keep things under control and not too wild, however if that's what you're looking for, you can fully unleash the Mammoth! This pedal is a total blast to play." - Brian S., MSM Gearhead
One of the coolest pedals we've come across, this Mammoth has tremendous bottom end and a beautiful harmonic structure that sounds blistering with a guitar too. The harmonic structure can be radically altered by using the "PINCH" knob. It adjusts the pulse width of the waveform. The "WOOL" knob adjusts the amount of 'fur' around the note, and the "EQ" knob tilts the spectral response. Finally, the "OUT" knob on the Zvex Woolly Mammoth is designed for smooth repeatable level settings. This pedal is truly incredible, and it comes with a custom paint job! Check out this cool Woolly Mammoth video and see how it takes your bass and guitar playing to another dimension.

The Zvex Distortron is the gifted little sister to the Z.Vex Box of Rock. It is highly specialized to simulate the "everything on 10" sound of a classic Marshall JTM45 non-master-volume amplifier. You may use the Zvex Distortron effectively with many different amplifiers, but to get the sound the Zvex engineers heard when they designed it, try it through an old-school non-master volume Marshall at least once.
