Robert Keeley Vox Wah V847 Mello Wah

Robert Keeley Effect Pedals - Vox Wah V847 Mello Wah

This Keeley Vox Wah V847 is seriously one the coolest things to come our way in a while. We already love Keeley for taking our favorite pedals one step beyond, and for creating his own innovative pedals, but this is too much. He's modded a Vox Wah - and you know after it has passed through his hands, it's pretty much magic.

Here he's given you dual inductors for a Mello Wah sound or full-on Funk Wah. You've got a toggle on the toe-end of the pedal to switch between one or two inductors (Dunlop Fasels). The toggle on the right side is for bass and resonance - the center is stock wah, the other two positions give you different bass boosts - you can get tones from Stevie Ray to Clapton to Hendrix and more. The knob on the right gives you Midrange/Volume control. Keep in mind this has true bypass so this won't steal your tone with the pedal off, plus he's included a new style of stomp switch dampener - making this perfect for studio work too.

And, last but not least, he wisely added a blue LED light so you can tell when it's on and off. Simple, yet genius and an easy way to ensure your tone's where you want it all the time. This Keeley Vox Wah V847 comes with the Vox soft cover and is boxed, with Keeley's detailed info as well.

Robert Keeley TS9 Mod Plus

Robert Keeley Effect Pedals - TS9 Mod Plus

Robert has become famous for his magic on this pedal. We have A/B'd his TS9 with many other clones and the real deal and his is flat out the best sounding, smoothest, quietest and most responsive TS on the market. Robert starts with a new Ibanez TS9 and utilizes better caps and resistors and changes the op-amp chip to the Texas Instruments 4558 chip for the best tone. This is what the best, vintage 808's used and this coupled with Robert's upgraded circuit makes for the best TS tone on the planet. Check out all the killer Keeley pedals in stock here.

Robert Keeley Modded DD-3 Digital Delay

Robert Keeley Effect Pedals - Modded DD-3 Digital Delay

Keeley is king when it comes to modding pedals. Here he's modded a Boss DD-3 Delay pedal - you still have a stock sound at hand, but you can easily switch to an analog delay feel -but it gets even better. Keeley explains: "We transform the Direct Out of the stock BOSS DD-3 and convert it into an effects loop so that you can add any effect to Just the Repeats!!! Imagine adding slight chorus or phase to the signal so that you can simulate tape effects, warble, wobble, or any other vintage/modern effect you can dream up! You'd be hard pressed to find another delay pedal that gives you this amount of creativity." It's true, Keeley's a genius. John concurs: "It's just lush and crystal clear. The analog sound is off the chart -no crunchy artifacts on the delay. As natural a delay as you can find." Check out all the killer Keeley pedals in stock here.

Robert Keeley Fuzz Head

Robert Keeley Effect Pedals - Fuzz Head

Robert turned his thoughts towards improving the Fuzz Face and related Germanium fuzz units and came up with this mean little machine. Similar to the quality of his compressor, this unit is a must see item for fuzz fans. It has a variety of settings that allows the user to find his or her own particular "sweet" spot. There is a silicon/germanium switch and internal range control to find your favorite lead setting. Very warm, very responsive and very quiet for a fuzz unit, this is one of the rare fuzz boxes that works equally well as a lead and rhythem box. The output is buffered for long cable runs and the switch is true bypass. Way to go Robert, this pedal rules!! USED

Robert Keeley TS-808 Mod True Bypass

Robert Keeley Effect Pedals - TS-808 Mod True Bypass

Why, you ask, does the new Ibanez TS808 re-issue need to be modded? Well, a lot of what Robert does to improve the sonics of the TS9 re-issue and even vintage TS808's is to upgrade the quality on many of the parts for better signal to noise ratio, dynamic response and tonal variance. Heck, even Peter Frampton had his TS808's modded by Robert. This is pure TS nirvana and its housed in a vintage correct box! This pedal also features the true bypass switch and a real 1982 JRC chip.

Robert Keeley TR-2 Tremolo Mod

Robert Keeley Effect Pedals - TR-2 Tremolo Mod

The features of the Boss TR-2 have always been cool, but its life as a tone sucking machine has been well documented. Now that Robert Keeley is done with it, it is probably the best trem pedal on the market. First off, he fixes the volume drop, bass frequency loss and the input level tone suck. By improving the components, Robert has effectively made this suitable for guitars and keys, no input overloading here on keyboards. He also adds a control for the output level, so you can get the proper amount of level boost for your particular needs. The waveform knob still works just like the original TR-2, great for fine tuning the envelope. Great amp like trem tones and sputtering on/off "machine gun" effects with no tone suck.

Robert Keeley Time Machine Boost

Robert Keeley Effect Pedals - Time Machine Boost

This pedal is actually a combined effort from Robert Keeley and Davis Szbados under the brand name of Legendary Tones. This is a beautifully made pedal that does two simple things VERY, VERY well. It has a clean linear boost with adjustable level on the "modern" side for a transparent boost (think Klon or Maxon OD820) and then another channel for a "Rangemaster" style treble or full frequency drive boost. This pedal works best in front of a high quality boutique or vintage tube amp that is just on the verge of overdrive or is maxed out. When used to kick your amp's front end hard, few can match the richness, clarity and quality of this pedal. This is truly an amazing sounding pedal, full of rich 2nd order harmonics on the vintage side and a GREAT linear boost on the modern side. It sounds great on all amps and looking inside, is a work of art. Over six hours of build time is required to make this and it is apparant from one look. If all you are looking for is a Klon and a Rangemaster style boost for your Vox/Fender/Marshall or new boutique amp, this is it in one easy to carry unit. Stellar!!

Robert Keeley Compressor (2-knob)

Robert Keeley Effect Pedals - Compressor (2-knob)

The best Ross clone on the market, period! Very clean and has all of the traits of the classic Ross feel. If you are still searching for a Way Huge Saffron Squeeze, stop looking, its all right here in a very well made pedal. The list of satisfied professional users of this pedal is too long to name, suffice to say all serious compressor users need to check this out. And if you really want to squash your signal for slide, without killing your tone, try running this ALONG WITH a Demeter Compulator for some serious grease! This one has the 9V adaptor plug.

Robert Keeley Rat 3 Way Mod

Robert Keeley Effect Pedals - Rat 3 Way Mod

There have been many different versions of the classic ProCo Rat pedal, some look different than others, some look the same but have different guts. Robert Keeley takes the guesswork out by making mods to new RATs that utilize the good sounding ICs that made this pedal famous in the first place, plus adds a couple new modes to take this pedal to new heights. Mode 1 is classic RAT, full, rich and nasty. Mode 2 is Mighty Mouse Mode, BIG increase in volume and harmonics to hit a good tube amp HARD and Mode 3 kicks in an extra diode for a more tube-like response. This is high-cholesterol, high-fat stomp box distortion at its finest. It's not pretty but it sure sounds good!
