JHS has hit it out of the park again with this JHS Pulp 'n Peel Compressor pedal. Two innovative things you won't find in most other compressors...they have incorporated a "clean blend" knob to allow you to dial in your original, un-affected tone. This is a great feature that helps greatly in keeping your main tone in tact! Second, this pedal also manages to keep your high end from being cut down like most compressors do. No tone color whatsoever...just smooth, ultra high quality compression. A must for every pedalboard!
Give the Pulp 'n Peel Compressor a listen on youtube to hear for yourself. The JHS Pulp 'n Peel Compressor takes your tone to the next level.

A booster, buffer, and enhancer all in one, this pedal packs quite a punch, especially considering it has only one knob and one footswitch. Set it and forget it. If you are looking for classic bass overdrive tones, the JHS Low Drive Pedal is the one for you. True low-end response and definition make it a great addition to any bass player's pedalboard. Not only can the Low Drive give you harsh and dirty tones in the lower register, but it gives you clean and responsive mid/high clarity. The gain knob is extremely flexible, allowing for a wide range of grit. This pedal will run at 18 volts if a little more headroom is needed, and it works great for guitar players as well. The JHS Low Drive Pedal gives you powerful overdrive with clean definition, a great pedal for any player.

This used JHS All American Overdrive Pedal is a nice deal - it's one of our favorite overdrives, made in KCMO, and this is a great opportunity to save some real dough on one. This is in Excellent Condition. This OD offers a more focused frequency range than any pedal in its class. The bass and mids melt perfectly into a combination that can make a 1x12 combo sound as if you have a stack of cabs backstage. The spiky and brutal highs of the original design have been tamed and are now submitting in a very pleasing way that allows you to actually use the tone/filter knob past 25%. JHS' biggest addition is the sweep knob that gives you instant control over the gain structure as a whole. This allows for perfect and precise tuning of the breakup and clipping in the circuit. JHS decided they wouldn't stop there but instead add a three way mini gain switch to the JHS All American Overdrive that allows LED/Silicon/Open clipping for one explosively versatile pedal. USED

The JHS Double Barrel Overdrive pedal is for the player who needs a versatile transparent overdrive at medium and light gain levels. You won’t find face melting distortion here but you will find overdrive with the character and stacking abilities to cover most any tonal need.
The left side is JHS' TS808 replica with improvements like a more usable tone control, more focused lows, better presence and warmer clipping. The right side is JHS' own Morning Glory. Transparent, discreet and open are what lurk inside this circuit.
When these two circuits are stacked, something magic happens. Tones that are original and fresh come with ease as well as added flexibility due to the “order switching” toggle that lets you decide what pedal comes first. If you're having problems getting the tones you want, just pick up the JHS Double Barrel Overdrive and see what happens!

This JHS Mini Bomb Boost pedal is an excellent, no-frills little MOSFET clean boost. The three main things one should look for in a clean boost are all here in this pedal. Does it add extra noise/hiss? No. Is it true-bypass? Yes. Is it constructed of quality components so you don't have to worry about failure in a gig situation? Yes. That's all you need! When kicked on, it adds a bit of a 3D quality to your tone and just a hint of sparkle. Great for solos - a little pixie dust sprinkled on for extra definition.
This JHS Mini Bomb Boost pedal is great for lead passages and for causing your tube amp to naturally overdrive due to its huge amount of headroom. You will notice a slight touch of presence that lets your tone cut through the mix for those passages you want to stand out. Very cool!

Check it out this amazing JHS Sweet Tea Distortion/Overdrive pedal! In the world of pedalboards, some sort of Tubescreamer style pedal is pretty much a staple. That allows you to cover your "SRV" and roots rock bases. But, you also need something with higher gain to cover your "Eddie" and "Zakk" bases. Well, how about cover all of those bases with one unit? That's what JHS did with this pedal. Whether you run them independently or together, you'll more than likely find the type of dirt you're seeking. If you play in a rock cover band, this will become your best friend! If you play in an all-original band, you'll also love it because you essentially have three distinct overdrive/distortion combinations to experiment with to hone in on "your" signature sound. Plugged into the Dr. Z MAZ 38 2x12 combo in the store, I conjured up many very usable tones that would work perfectly in my personal band setting. I'm sure you'll dig the JHS Sweet Tea Distortion/Overdrive as much as I do! - Brian S.

In this JHS Synth Drive pedal lives more tone and creativity that any pedal they offer. The foundation of the Synth Drive is a modified DS-1 with exceptional distortion tones, massively improved response, better dynamics as well as enough range to do it all. The great thing is, they didn’t stop there. They added three synth switches to the sides of the pedal that allow for extremely unique tone shaping. These switches on the JHS Synth Drive used individually or collectively yield everything from lo-fo overdrive, fuzz, synth droning, octave distortion, ring modulation type frequencies and more! This is a demo model with slight chip on the top corner. Great Condition!
"What a wild pedal! The switches on the side really fill out your signals frequency range making it really wide. All you Sonic Youth fans hang on, this pedal rocks!" - Matthew K.
"Ever have the desire for some of those otherworldly synth sounds, but never could justify spending the money to acquire them? This is your perfect opportunity. Not only does this modded DS-1 cover all those sounds, but can give you some awesome and usable distortion sounds as well, and with a price tag of $110, there never has been a better time to have it all." - Jason J.

When modding the JHS DOD Preamp 250 they replace the chip and several components to give you the vintage Malmsteen sound of the 70's. The original 250 came with the LM741 chip (single opamp) and was known for a smoother overdrive sound. The new design on this pedal calls for a dual opamp and has a direct replacement in the 1458. This is a prototype mod, and the only one JHS ever did! USED
