Martin D-41GJ George Jones

Martin Acoustic Guitars - D-41GJ George Jones

This beautiful Martin D-41GJ George Jones acoustic was a limited edition model of only 100 - this is #46. It's in Excellent condition, though one side was previously replaced by Martin. It's perfect now, with no sign of repair. If not for that we could rate this as Mint - it's super clean. Beautiful Engelmann Spruce with an aging toner combined with East Indian Rosewood help to give this a wonderful, full sound. Great detailing (as you would expect on a model honoring 'The Possum') including incredible inlay work, CF Martin inlay on the headstock and Jones' signature between the 18th and 20th frets. Of course the label also bears Jones' signature and CF Martin IV's as well. Overshadowing the bling though is the fact that this is simply a great player. Original hard case included with this Martin D-41GJ George Jones acoustic as well. $2,800. Consignment item, sorry shipping not included. USED

Martin DRS1

Martin Acoustic Guitars - DRS1

This brand spanking new Martin DRS1 offers fans of Mahogany dreads a nicely priced and great sounding alternative - this features an all solid Sapele body (a cousin of Mahogany's), with A bracing, and even a Fishman Sonitone pickup already installed. It's incredibly durable too with Martin's Stratabond neck, topped with a black Richlite fretboard. Nice nutwidth at 1 11/16". Tonally this offers, like all Mahogany acoustics, a slightly mellower tone often favored by blues players as well as others, but gives you all the volume you'd expect from its dread body. Nice combo. A hard case is included with this Martin DRS1.
