This Used Marshall JCM2000 Dual Super Lead DSL100 is in Very Good condition, and ready to rock. 100 watts of power, two channels, and internal spring reverb, this amp has tremendous tonal versatility. It has a 100% pure valve signal path through four ECC83s and four EL34s, a Tone Shift switch to scoop out mids, and dual reverb controls. Each channel, Classic and Ultra, has two different modes. Footswitch not included. Some cosmetic damage on top(see photo), this amp still works and sounds like new. If you're looking for some real power, this Marshall 1960BV Cab has got it in spades - and at a very nice price! This is a killer 300 watt 4x12 straight 4/16 ohm mono and 8ohm stereo and built like a tank with ultimate projection in mind. This '99 Marshall 1959SLP Head amp is loud, rude and ready to ROCK! The circuitry mods are very evident in the touch sensitivity that this head has, compared to the stock version. It's full, rich and seems to give the sense of a direct link from your hand to the speakers. Single coils are crisp, but not harsh with great string to string definition. Humbuckers produce pure Malcolm Young overdrive when the amp is dimed. Through a 4x12, you can actually turn this all the way up and find great shades of dirt all in between. It also takes overdrive pedals well, so the relationship with your neighbors will remain in tact! - Brian S.
This head is used, and in Excellent condition. It's a killer 100 watt head that's been modded and upgraded. The owner removed the PCB board that came from the factory and installed a Turret board (same as Greg Germino uses), so everything is hand-wired. Also the factory capacitors have been replaced with aftermarket SOZO caps and carbon comp resistors -another great Germino-inspired choice. There are photos of the circuitry with the amp...the work is very well done. This model came out before Marshall started installing effects loops, so it's more of a real-deal reproduction of the original plexis than anything else out there that Marshall makes. Sounds killer! "Out of the four or five late 70s JMPs and early JCM800s I've had the opportunity to play extensively, this Marshall JMP 50 is BY FAR my favorite. Unlike a lot of these models, you don't have to turn the treble to zero and bass to 10 to dial in a good tone. I set everything at 12 o'clock, plugged in, and immediately IT was there. Marshall used beefier power transformers in these models along with early JCM800s, so the classic "wallup" you'd expect is there in spades...plus the larger power transformer allows higher gain settings to retain punch and definition. Depending on where you set the Master and Pre-Amp control, everything from early Eddie, Zakk Wylde and the Young brothers can be conjured up. This is definitely one of the keepers!" - Brian S.

Very cool 50 watt Marshall 1987X Plexi Reissue head with a little something extra - this has been modded by David Bray Amps and includes a Master Volume mod keeping your tone and breakup at any volume. This is loaded with N.O.S. preamp tubes and Sylvania 6ca7 power tubes. Easily one of the finest reissue Marshalls we have heard in a long time. Don "Tone Doctor" Butler showed this baby some love when setting the specs right and we couldn't be happier with a generous effects loop as a modern consideration. This Marshall 1987X has correct value filter cans, new Plexi 50 Mercury/Axiom output tranny and choke, point to point circuit board with correct circuit wiring for a '66-'69 era 50-watt head. A new matched pair of EH Mullard EL-34s round out this awesome amp. Hardly played and in mint condish. Includes padded clam shell case from Studio Slips. USED
