The classic Marshall 1936 2x12 cab with a little extra something. This gives you 150 watts, 16, 8 ohms, and is loaded with Big Rock 55 watt speakers for killer sound. Easily one of the finest reissue Marshalls we have heard in a long time. Don "Tone Doctor" Butler showed this baby some love when setting the specs right and we couldn't be happier with a generous effects loop as a modern consideration. This Marshall 1987X has correct value filter cans, new Plexi 50 Mercury/Axiom output tranny and choke, point to point circuit board with correct circuit wiring for a '66-'69 era 50-watt head. A new matched pair of EH Mullard EL-34s round out this awesome amp. Hardly played and in mint condish. Includes padded clam shell case from Studio Slips. USED

Mid '70's 1960 cab slant. This excellent condition 4 x 12" is loaded with Rola Blackback G12H's. As can be seen in the pictures, these are the 30 watt 55hz versions with the larger "Heavy" magnets. These guys were favored by many professional players in the '70's for their extra power, low end response and searing top end crunch. Plug any good high wattage tube amp into this cab and you'll know why the arena rockers of the '70's liked them so much; Very powerful, efficient and plenty of musical top end to cut across a large stage. Eddie Van Halen was a big fan of these speakers and when mated with a warm Plexi top, adds just enough extra top end crunch to get your point across. And when mated with a harder edged amp, LOOK OUT!!! These speakers make sure you get heard in the mix!!! The speakers are original, with original "444" cones and sound fantastic. The grille is original as well as the logo and the hardware. Killer cab. USED

There is a reason why these late 60's Marshall cabs are so desired. The combination of superior marine grade birch plywood, metal handles and Pre-Rola Celestion greenbacks makes for a woody, thick and smooth tone that simply oozes vibe and coolness. This one is a little ratty looking (as most 35 year old cabs usually are), but the cabinet is solid, the grille is intact with a super sweet "worn vintage" look and the speakers are perfect. Three of the four speakers are Pre-Rola Celestion labeled 25 watt, 75hz "002 or 003" cones, the other is a "Marshall labeled" 25 watt speaker, probably from a combo from the same era. Its cone code is a little hard to make out, due to the dust on the cone, but we think it says "103 /2 or 02". All cones are original have the sweet vibe we love about these old Greenbacks. This cab has become a reference cab for the store and detailed pics are available upon request. Perfect for the studio and road. USED
