The Genz Benz Shenandoah 150 LT Acoustic Amp is one our favorites for acoustic players -perfect for the gigging musician. The 150 gives you fantastic and true acoustic tone in a super light (just over 25 pound) package. You've got two identical channels with both XLR and 1/4 inch inputs. Each channel has a 3 band EQ with parametric mid-range controls and a phase switch to prevent unwanted feedback. The amp delivers 150 watts of clean headroom into the internal 12-inch speaker and tweeter and can put out over 200 watts with the optional 8 ohm extension cab. The 150LT also features a 24-bit digital effects processor that produces studio-quality reverbs, delays and chorus effects. The Shenandoah Compak 300 10T Acoustic Amp offers the acoustic player great, true sound plus an attractive, creative, lightweight cabinet design and a unique removable amplifier chassis feature. This allows the player to extract the amp chassis and use it for larger venues, transporting it in the pocket of a guitar gig bag - seriously cool and very practical. This Genz Benz Shuttle Max 12.0 tops my list of complete ridiculousness. This is 1200 watts at 2Ω with 2 individual power amps, so you can use 2 cabinets of different impedance ratings. A 3-band compression system allows you to boost the lows, mids, and/or highs at will (accessible from the foot switch, included). It doesn't end there, the amp has two channels: a beautifully clean Mosfet solid-state channel and a 12AX7 tube channel that can really growl; switchable from the foot switch you can also use each channel separately or together. By the way, did I mention this amp weighs under 7lbs? This Genz Benz Shuttle Max 12.0 is the real deal. - Matthew K.
