Gibson 1978 Les Paul Custom

Gibson Electric Guitars - 1978 Les Paul Custom

If you've been looking for a classic rocker with some serious sustain, this vintage 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom is it. It's all original except for the bridge pickup, which is a Gibson humbucker. These pickups are super well matched, about 7.6 in the neck and 8.2 in the bridge - nice and gain-y and totally rocking. The neck pickup is dated June 1978, the bridge pickup is a later Gibson hum, but we were not able to date it. It weighs in at a substantial 10 pounds, 4 ounces.

This Black Beauty is in Very Good condition. It does have buckle rash and some play wear, including about a one inch ding along the front of the bottom bout (see photos). The gold hardware has tarnished some and shows wear, but structurally this LP is tip top. Lots of fret life left, nice low action, killer pickups and a sweet and fast neck. Non original molded hard case included. Serial # 72848502. USED

Gibson ES-175

Gibson Archtop Electrics - ES-175

This used Gibson ES-175 is in Excellent Plus condition, and sounds fantastic. Debuted in 1949, it's easy to see why Gibson's Custom Shop is still making this model. Perfect for jazz but great for rock, blues, country... its laminate Curly Maple body produces loads of warmth through two '57 Classic humbuckers. Its one-piece Mahogany neck has the same classic ES-175 profile as the original, a distinct yet comfortable shape, and it has a Rosewood fretboard with stunning pearl split parallelogram inlays. When it comes to looks, this guitar has it. Here in a Vintage Sunburst, it has chrome hardware including its Trapeze tailpiece, a black pickguard, and multi-ply top binding.

It has a newly made adjustable Rosewood bridge, formed and fashioned for a perfect fit by our very own Matt H. This modification gives the instrument a darker, more natural tone. If that's not quite what you're looking for, the original ABR-1 bridge is also included. A solid guitar in wonderful shape, this Gibson ES-175 comes with its original case. USED

Gibson 1936 L-50

Gibson Archtop Acoustics - 1936 L-50

This 1936 Gibson L-50 is amazing from top to bottom. This is in Excellent condition - who ever owned this vintage beauty took very good care of it and it is in pristine shape, as is the original Red Line hard case. It does need a neck reset and subsequent fret work, but is priced accordingly and definitely has a long life yet ahead. Aside from its expected finish checking (which just lends to its cool vintage look in our humble opinion), this guitar has very little wear, especially for its age.

What a sound this has, with a full, rich archtop tone. It has a solid Spruce top, and dark stained Maple back and sides. It has a gorgeous sunburst finish, a trapeze tailpiece, and an adjustable Ebony bridge. A beautiful raised tortoise pickguard and slim F-holes add to its cool look. For more information on this instrument, or to speak with our own repair shop about the recommended work to be done, feel free to call call us at 1-800-747-9980 or email us at . This 1936 Gibson L-50 is a superb vintage instrument. $1,395. Consignment item. Sorry, shipping not included. USED

Gibson 1967 ES-335

Gibson Semi-Hollow Electrics - 1967 ES-335

This vintage 1967 Gibson ES-335 is a tremendous player. It has that sought-after classic 335 sound in spades. This is in Very Good condition, with heavy weather checking, a faded finish, and some play wear including a few dings (see photos), but no structural issues. There have been a few changes done over the years, including replacing the original tuners and removing the pickguard. Both alterations have been touched up including the pickguard holes being filled. Our owner Jim Baggett recently gave this a fretdress, and shielding tape has been added to the wiring so this 335 is ready to roll for many years to come. It has a rich, rounded tone and is full of sustain. A vintage beauty, this 1967 Gibson ES-335 comes with a non-original hard case. Serial #053639. USED

It has a bolt-on neck and a Maple fingerboard. In Very Good condition, it has a new set of strings and a fresh set up by our shop, as well as a new input jack. There is a small ding on the back side (see photo) and minor playwear. Sounds and plays great, this 1975 Gibson G3 Bass comes with its original hard case. $700. Consignment item. With new strings and a recent set up by our repair shop, this bass plays extremely well, and sounds phenomenal. It has Volume and Tone controls, a V-shaped headstock, bolt-on neck, and a removable bridge cover.
