If you're a fan of the 814ce tone, but aren't married to its cosmetic features, then this Taylor 414ce 2009 Ltd Rosewood acoustic is definitely for you! This is one of a limited run of Taylor's 414ce where they replaced the matte finished Ovangkol back and sides with full-gloss East Indian Rosewood. It looks amazing and sounds just as good. The Rosewood on this model gives a sweet, expanded top end with rich lows, similar to the 814ce. Again, this one is from a very limited run, so it may not last long! - Brian

The Taylor XXXV 35th Anniv. Baritone - What a cool instrument to have in your arsenal! Taylor has an excellent design for this model with a nice, even tone from the treble to the bass side. Open chords are nice and clear. Playability is a breeze too. Action set at a nice, low height without a bit of zing. Leave it to Taylor to nail this type of instrument. Truly a sweet piece! -Brian S.
Only 35 of these incredible baritones were made. The longer scale length (27") of this baritone keeps your string tension completely intact while you're playing in a lower register - something not possible if you just tune down. This Bari can really open up your playing style with richer, deeper tones. Artists from Dave Matthews to Ani DiFranco have found bliss with baritones. This is tuned to B (B E A D F# B). A really beautiful, powerful and resonant addition to Taylor's stellar offerings this year.
