A very nice example made by the famed arch top guitar builder John D'Angelico. This is a two point Lyon and Healy-style mandolin with the violin scroll peg head that D'Angelico used up until 1942, when he switched to a more guitar-style peg head. Serial number is 105. The condition is very good to excellent, with no major issues. Very minimal pick wear in the top, above the sound hole, and some minor touch-up on the side of the neck at the fingerboard joint. 1913 Gibson Style O in excellent original condition. This is the cleanest I have ever seen. It has a finely crafted Maple replacement bridge, but the original bridge comes with it. The finish has a lovely patina of a guitar that was always carefully kept. One would have to assume that this guitar was only lightly played. This is a 000-28C Brazilian Martin classical from 1963. The guitar has some of the most spectacular Brazilian rosewood back and sides you will ever find. The conversion to steel string included a new top and neck, 41-style abalone purfling, deluxe inlaid pickguard, flowerpot headstock inlay, and floral pattern fingerboard inlay. All work was done by Thomas Mathis, a master craftsman, guitar and banjo builder, and inlay artist from Lee's Summit, MO. Every aspect of the conversion is of the very highest quality.
